BARAON · SCAR CARE
Some depressed scars are held down by fibrous bands beneath the skin. Subcision releases these bands to reduce downward tension. As the area heals, new collagen forms and remodels.
At BARAON, we assess scar shape, depth, tethering and surrounding skin, then plan Subcision Ax (Saesalchim) and complementary treatments according to your needs.
The diagram explains the principle; it is not a treatment result. Suitability and response vary by individual.
Book a scar consultationYes. At BARAON Korean Medicine Clinic in Seoul, the face and neck are often treated in the same visit. If your schedule allows, separate visits can make aftercare more manageable. When the chest or back is also involved, we generally recommend dividing the areas across visits.
If repeated visits are difficult because of travel or distance, tell us your preferred treatment areas and departure date when booking. A larger single session requires a discussion with the clinician and a sufficiently long appointment slot. Our clinic has performed sessions lasting more than four hours for the face, neck, chest and back after arranging these conditions. This is not our usual first recommendation, because recovery and caring for several treated areas at once can be inconvenient.
We examine the lesions before discussing removal and use the UPULSE laser for flat-wart care. When there are many lesions, ask about the total cost and the exact areas included, rather than comparing only a per-lesion price. If you want both the face and neck treated, confirm that both are covered in the proposed plan.
When booking, tell us the areas you want assessed, any previous removal treatment and your departure date. This helps us plan the consultation, appointment length and aftercare discussion.
